We have been enjoying coming together again to worship as our church family at TCC since the lifting of restrictions. Although restrictions have been lifted, they have been replaced with strong recommendations. We have received helpful texts and emails from various sources including Elim. From this, these are principles that we will to work with.
We will continue to perform ongoing COVID-19 risk assessments.
We will ensure that we have adequate ventilation.
We will keep necessary cleaning regimes in place.
We will encourage the use of the COVID QR.
We will have clear and open communication with staff, volunteers, congregations and any visitors to our facilities.
We will turn away people with obvious COVID symptoms.
In addition to these principles, we will remain flexible in our planned, careful re-opening of capacity in the Church building.
We will re-open our 09:00am Communion service from October 3rd.
We will serve Communion using Covid secure, self-contained “Fellowship Cups”.
We will move the morning service to 11:00am.
We will thereby increase the available seating.
We no longer requiring people to book to come to the services.
We will keep hand sanitisation stations in place.
We will live broadcast the communion from our service at (approximately) 09:15
We will broadcast our morning service from 11:00.
We will encourage but not require the wearing of masks. Our stewards will wear face shields.
We will encourage prophetic words/ words of encouragement from a dedicated microphone, which is placed off of the platform.
There is no need for screens around the worship team.
When a drummer is ministering, they will have an acoustic screen as before.
