I’m New
Welcome To TCC – The Beacon
Firstly – What’s in the name?!
Historically the church is known as Thundersley Congregational Church (TCC) and has been on this site since 1906. Sitting at the top of Bread & Cheese hill it is the highest point around for miles and prophetically we’ve adopted the idea of being ‘the beacon on the hill’. A place where God’s light can shine, like a beacon, to light the way, to be visible and known and therefore ‘The Beacon’ to reflect this. So sometimes we are known as TCC and sometimes the Beacon!
We’re a lively independent church serving Thundersley and the wider area of south east Essex led by Senior Minister Dave Pickett, and Assistant Ministers, David Turner and Richard Keeler, all holding Elim Pentecostal church credentials. We are an Elim Network church.
Our vision is to make Jesus known through word and worship and faith in action.
We’d love to welcome you to be part of the exciting adventure of making Jesus known. Do join us at any of our Sunday Services and other events and activities. If you really want to grow in faith, make friends and make a difference then we’d highly recommend you get fully involved in church life here, for example coming along to one of our small groups that meet each week called ‘Life Groups’ or if you would like to explore questions about life and faith then do come on our next Alpha.
You can keep up to date with news and events on Facebook as well as getting other news via this website.
