Richard served as a deacon for a number of years and has been working full-time at TCC since September 2003 initially working in local schools taking assemblies, lessons, lunchtime clubs and youth events. More recently his role has expanded to take responsibility for connecting the church with the community through various intiatives including the Noise week. He is now on the eldership team and become an Assistant Minister with responsibilities to the community growing and expanding his previous work with schools and community outreach.
Richard became a Christian at a youth event at TCC. Having trained as an electrician he took the bold step to leave his job and come and work at the church. In his own words ‘I have one of the best jobs in the world!’
He is married to Colette, who is also actively involved in church life and they have one son Toby.
